Right.  I guess I want to talk a little bit about my life lately.  not in OMG my life sucks - give me attention type of way.  But, I do want to get some stuff out and let at least my closer dA-friends know what's been going on.

The short version for anyone who wants to stop reading here, is I've been diagnosed with social phobia/anxiety, major depression, and bipolar.

So there you have it.  I'm mentally ill.  Most of the time I'm in pretty much a deep dark depression, which explains the lack of art recent.  I swung into mania the other day so I'm bursting with energy right now and just might get creative tonight.

For those of you who are still reading this, I am getting help (finally).  I started an antidepressant a couple of weeks ago, though it hasn't kicked in yet.  I'm also meeting with a professional counselor.

My life has been torturous as of late.  Just in case you wanted to know.
